We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic senior pharmacy technician or pharmacist to join our friendly and professional pharmacy team as the Pharmacy Business Projects and IT systems manager.

The post will suit someone who would enjoy a busy and varied role, providing project management for projects relating to the business aspects of pharmacy and IT systems management across two hospital sites in Woolwich and Lewisham.

This role will require a flexible individual who can organise their own time to ensure that short, medium and long-term objectives are completed. An interest and aptitude for pharmacy IT is required and experience in this area would be beneficial.

This post will have specific responsibilities as well as deputising for the operations and IT manager. Duties include:

Managing pharmacy IT systems, trouble-shooting problems using suppliers and Trust IT for support, project managing change when new functionality is available.

Providing leadership for pharmacy projects - working closely with external suppliers/Estates & Facilities/Capital planning on all projects which involve pharmacy, providing coordination for projects cross-site

Supporting the operational management of pharmacy at both sites, managing and facilitating the resolution of issues or change to ensure that the clinical and technical functions of the department can operate effectively
