My client an established residential nursing home is looking to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse on an ad-hoc or full time basis for an immediate start. The suitable Registered Mental Health Nurse will be an enthusiastic and experienced RMN who has at least 6 months experience of working in Mental Health, be that hospitals or private care settings.
You will need: Minimum of 6 Months experience within a Mental Health setting within the last 2 years - References covering a minimum of 3 years - Valid NMC pin - Valid DBS check Key Skills: - Decision making skills - Effective communication skills and able to build strong relationships - Excellent observation and organisational skills - Empathy and the ability to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds Key Responsibilities: - Working alongside patients, carers and local communities - Responsibility for the confidentiality of patient records - Required to keep patient records up-to-date and accurate at all times - Assessing and supporting patients - Encouraging patients to take part in activities - Delivering medication and ensuring medication is monitored and kept safe.
