A leading global marine defence organisation that specialises in supplying specialist products within the defence domain. Due to a period of sustained growth they are currently recruiting for a number of strategic staff positions, including a Supply Chain Manager.
As Project Procurement Manager you’ll work closely with the head of functions as well as internal and external stakeholders to develop and deploy effective Supply Chain solutions. You’ll support purchasing, production, inventory management through to warehousing and distribution.
To succeed in the role of Project Procurement Manager you must have experience working in a complex manufacturing/engineering environment with an understanding of the processes and principles. MCIPs or equivalent professional qualification is essential and any advanced degree e.g. MBA would be highly beneficial.
This leading marine defence organisation delivers a wide array of complex through-life engineering services. This role functions within their Marine and Technology Division. The business unit is going through a massive period of growth and over the next three to five years will move from being a £100m business with circa 800 staff to a £200m business with 1,100 staff.
