I am seeking a forward-thinking, confident individual to join an established staff team as a Residential Support Worker at a small children's residential home based in the Birmingham area.
The home currently has a ''Good'' rated OFSTED report and specialises in support for young people up to the age of 18 with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). There can be an element of challenging behaviour within this role, and full training will be given.
This full-time vacancy, consists of long day shifts, on a rota-basis and will include the occasionally sleep in shift.
No previous experience is essential, but is preferred. You just need a passion for the role and a can-do attitude, as well as being fully flexible. General daily duties may include:
* Getting children up and ready and prepared for school
* Paperwork and updating files
* Key working / Engaging with young people
* Cooking / Cleaning
* Weekend activities
Generous pay rate offered of up to £8.85 per hour (Dependant on experience - Level 3 in Health and Social Care required) - PLUS an extra sleep in allowance paid on top.
