Apple Goes Bananas with new iPhone App

AllTheTopBananas.com have released the latest version of their iPhone job seeking application, which allows jobseekers to search and apply for over 200,000 vacancies from AllTheTopBananas.com whilst being fully mobile; eliminating the need to be in front of a computer. The application builds on the success of their previous two versions of the application, and has been modified to incorporate a wealth of new features, making it the most comprehensive free job seeking iPhone application to date.

The AllTheTopBananas iPhone application allows the jobseeker to search all of the vacancies on AllTheTopBananas.com by performing a search in exactly the same way as on the site itself. By entering location, job title and even choosing your salary range, the user will have the opportunity to save searches, view details of the jobs and even apply directly online. The application enables search criteria to be saved so that desired searches can be performed whenever necessary to ensure jobseekers get the latest vacancies, and also allows you to email the best vacancies with the tap of a button.

The development of the latest application has focused on user experience and the application has undergone a number of usability enhancements based on user feedback, to ensure that the application is as easy to use as the full site version of AllTheTopBananas.com. As well as providing a refined user experience, the application also boasts a a variety of new features which include being able to recognise your location and perform a job search by utilising the inbuilt GPS within the iPhone. There is also an advice section which provides jobseekers with access to a whole host of information for the jobseeker; from CV advice to hints and tips for recent graduates.

Dave Martin, MD of AllTheTopBananas.com states: "We are very proud to have been the first jobs website to bring out a job seeking application for the iPhone, and we are keen to build upon our previous experience to continue to produce innovative and helpful job seeking applications that will assist the jobseeker in the, often arduous, task of job seeking. We wanted to eliminate the boundaries imposed on job seeking, to allow our jobseekers to have the opportunity to search and apply for jobs whilst away from home or the workplace. With phones now being fully integrated with mobile web, it was only natural that job seeking would be a part of this process, and amazingly, we were the first ones to fully realise this potential with our first job seeking application. We have come a long way since our first application, and the development and advanced features that have gone into the latest application will hopefully make this our most successful version to date."

The iPhone application is available to download now from the iTunes applications store, and is available for use on the iPhone and the iPod Touch. It is the third of three versions of the application, with the most comprehensive feature list to date. With downloads for the previous apps reaching high levels, AllTheTopBananas.com hopes to emulate and improve upon the success of its predecessors. The company is currently working on an Android (Google Phone) version of the application.
