Where and when can I work?
Anywhere in the country. Most businesses, both large and small, will have an office function somewhere in the company.
Typical working hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. In some offices however you may be required to work Saturdays and Bank Holidays, but this very much depends on the nature of the business.

Wages for this junior position normally start around minimum wage. In some businesses can be slightly higher, especially those in London. Salary will increase with experience and added responsibility.

As a junior administrator you will be responsible for a number of tasks that help with the effective running of the office. These include organising office post, filing, typing letters, producing documents, answering the telephone, responding to emails and other general office duties including photocopying and faxing.
Do I need any experience?
Not at all. As a junior administrator you will receive on-the-job training. A good academic background that includes GCSEs can help you get to the interview stage, but no experience is required.
